Our story and our mission
Living in California, it is easy to miss the comforting flavors of home and the warmth of a Sunday afternoon in Egypt. Often, waiting for Sunday School to end meant rushing to crowded places or missing out on true fellowship. We realized that our congregation needed a space to pause, relax, and just connect.
Our SMSJ Kitchen was created to recreate that authentic Mediterranean experience. By offering beloved family recipes cooked with care, we hope to transform the Sunday rush into a joyful extension of the Liturgy.
